So I’m not the kind of Go Go Girl you expected but I promise my blog of my go- goings will be as much fun as if you had a dancer on your table. You won’t be disappointed.
Yes, like most everyone I meet, I’m an aspiring author. I’m also a wife and mother of three hoping to quit my job of selling castles, move to Italy, drink wine and write full-time. Shhhh, don’t tell my husband. He thinks I’m running my business, Cedars Fine Properties. I’m writing a novel that I hope to publish next year, “Losing It In Beirut”. I’ll let you guess what’s being lost.
You know the stuff you think about but don’t want to say because it’s embarrassing or don’t want people to get the wrong image. Well, that is what this blog is about and more. I will talk about anything from my dated dishwasher and stove, my difficult clients, my kids, my family and the dream trip we took to sunny Lebanon for my cousins weddings where we got stuck in a nasty war. We ended up evacuated by the Marines who put us on the military ship, the USS Nashville, for a deluxe cruise on the Mediterranean Ocean to Cyprus. I swear I’m not fibbing, ask CNN and the CEO of Delta Airlines. Better yet, ask Anthony Bourdain; he made a special meal for all of us castaways.
And, if you stick with me, I will throw in a bonus topic about my snitch drug addict/dealer cousin who received payment by the US government to set up my family members and put them in prison. I wonder which assignment he’s working on now? Hope it’s not me.
I hope you will take this journey with me and share your stories on this blog.

Are these camels in the background? Ok, you got me. I am Arab or some might say, Phoenician. To be exact, I’m Lebanese and those are my half breed kids. Daniel, Mariana and Sami.
Kids in Beirut, Lebanon- July 2006
Evacuation by US Marines during Thirty-three day war.
First time Marines stepped into Lebanon since 1983 Bombing. We were so happy to see them. What an honor! Would love to find the marine in this picture so I can give him the biggest hug.
BTW: if you click on the picture and zoom, you will see his name “Wilks”
